Jan. 4, 2000	To relieve the Tibetans in Shigatse area of Tibet who are lack of doctors and medicine, "Dazhong Transportation" donated 200 thousand yuan in the establishment of a county public healthy center and presented a bus worth 200-thousand-yuan to the Travel Bureau of Shigatse Tibet to support the development of the tourism industry in Tibet.
Jan. 12,2000	Dazhong Taxi Truck Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of "Dazhong Transportation" put 480 new Jiefang 0.6-T trucks into operation, thus the operating vehicles of the company reached 800 units.
Jan. 26,2000	Hangzhou Dazhong Public Transport Co., Ltd. was opened with a registered capital of RMB 43 million yuan. "Dazhong Transportation" invested RMB 25.5 million yuan in cash and held 59.3% shares. Now "Hangzhou Dazhong" has 389 operation vehicles and 26 lines with a total coverage of over 380 kilometers.
Feb. 1,2000	Shanghai Chongming Dazhong Public Transport Co., Ltd., jointly invested by "Dazhong Transportation" and Public Transport Holding Co. began its business. The registered capital of Chongming Dazhong Public Transport Co. is RMB 10 million yuan, among which "Dazhong Transportation" invested RMB 7 million yuan in cash, accounting for 70% of the total share capital.
Feb. 22,2000	"Dazhong Transportation" donated RMB 2 million yuan to the 5th National Disabled Games.
Late Feb., 2000	In the selection of "1999 ten-excellent good deeds of spiritual civilization" held by the civilization committee of the Public Utilities Bureau, Zhang Liufa and Zhang Quan, drivers from Dazhong Taxi Operation Co. were selected for their brave conduct.
Mar. 1, 2000	"Dazhong Transportation" held a commending meeting to honor Wang Yong'an who saved the lives of three soldiers and Ji Long'an who always offered free service for the blind children.

Middle Mar., 2000	In the selection of the 1999 advanced individual in the construction of spiritual civilization organized by Shanghai Taxi Association, 107 good deeds of Dazhong Taxi Operation Co. were listed and 110 advanced drivers were commended.
Apr. 7, 2000	"Dazhong E-commerce Co., Ltd.", co-organized by Dazhong Transportation (Group) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nan Kang Electronics Co., Ltd., Shanghai Gas Sales (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Dazhong Enterprises of Science &Technology, was set up.

Apr. 26, 2000	"Dazhong Transportation" and Hutchison & Britten staged a signing ceremony on the cooperation of logistics. And "Dazhong Container Traffic Co., Ltd." which was wholly invested by "Dazhong Transportation" was set up on the same day.
Apr. 28, 2000	Sponsored by five units including "Dazhong Transportation", "Bashi Industrial", "Shanghai Qiangsheng", "Shanghai Jiaoyun" and Public Transport Holding Co., Shanghai Modern Light Rail Management & Development Co., Ltd. was established with a registered capital of RMB 100 million yuan.
Early May, 2000	"Dazhong Transportation" dispatched 71 Santana, 37 home taxis and 23 Jinbei travelling buses to nine hotels including Qian He Hotel, Everbright Hotel and Bailemen Hotel, etc., serving the needs of all 35 delegations and the game committee members of the Disabled Games. Aug. 8, 2000	Wuxi Dazhong Logistics Co., Ltd., co-funded by Dazhong Transportation (Group) Co., Ltd., Wuxi Dazhong Taxi Co., Ltd. and Wuxi Lianyun Corporation, announced its establishment. This is the first logistics company Dazhong set up outside Shanghai.

Dec. 24, 2000	The third generation of taxi cabs in Dazhong--"Passat B5" was put into operation. "Passat B5" was the most advanced model adopted as cabs in domestic taxi industry up to now.
